The Academy Space is an independent, specialist training provider delivering outstanding psychotherapy and counselling education in Sheffield. Established in 2010, they offer two courses, Foundations in Counselling Course and a Diploma which is accredited by the NCPS, alongside a range of short workshops.

The Academy Space is run by a skilled team of directors and their courses are delivered by highly experienced practitioner tutors and supervisors. Recognised for their high standards and supportive learning environment, The Academy Space has been consistently rated as ‘outstanding’ by their external examiner for five consecutive years.

All course classes are run in-person at their dedicated Broomhall based academy where they teach small classes in a comfortable and homely environment.

The long established academy identified the need for a refresh to better reflect their supportive and professional ethos and to help them make more on an impact online.

Inspired by the distinctive arched window of their Sheffield premises, we created a new logo with a refined colour palette, offering a visual identity that feels natural, welcoming and academic.

To bring their story and space to life, we undertook a photoshoot to showcase the academy’s environment and community. The new identity takes centre stage on a bespoke, user-friendly website designed to clearly present their courses, application process, and training philosophy. The final build was expertly delivered by Websites by Lucy making it easy for prospective students to explore, apply, and engage.
