ABOUT CHRIS JOYCE DRUMS
Chris Joyce is a multi-genre drummer with decades of international experience. Born in Manchester, he picked up the sticks at 15 and quickly made a name for himself in rock and punk circles. In 1985, he joined Simply Red, helping to lay down the rhythm for their debut single, Money’s Too Tight (To Mention), and stayed with the band until 1991.
These days, Chris shares his passion and expertise with drummers of all ages and skill levels at his drumming school in Morecambe. Chris Joyce Drums offers in-person and online lessons, drum tutorials, and live sessions on his YouTube channel. When he’s not teaching, he’s still keeping time on stage, most recently touring the UK with The Mighty Wah!
THE PROJECT
Chris wanted a brand refresh that hit all the right notes—modern, bold, and impactful, with a nod to his retro roots. We stepped in to fine-tune his branding and give it a fresh, professional edge.A bold black-and-white logo design was created, a bright, energetic colour palette and typographic style that channels vintage vibes while staying sleek and current.
We then rolled out the new branding across Chris’s website, social media, and e-newsletter, ensuring a cohesive look that amplifies his online presence.
From start to finish, this project was a masterclass in rhythm and reinvention, and we couldn’t be happier with the final result. Chris Joyce Drums is now looking sharper than ever – ready to teach, perform, and inspire the next generation of drummers!
