Estimated Project Costs
The costs of a design project will be quoted in advance. Once permission has been given to start a project, it will be subject to the accepted quoted fees. Should the project alter from the original brief, a new quotation will be provided.
All prices quoted are valid for 30 days from the date of quotation.
Proofs and Alterations
Your proofs will be provided as PDFs via email before any artwork is finalised and/or printed. Alterations and further proofs are included in the project costs. If, however, a client requires multiple amendments and revisions deemed to be excessive, there will be additional costs, and these will be based on our hourly studio rate of £35.
Any projects that are cancelled at any point during which concepts or artwork have been produced, will be subject to charge at our studio hourly rate of £35 and will be invoiced.
The client’s written approval is final. In granting approval, the client assumes full responsibility for the accuracy of all images, text, graphics, and measurements prior to production. In the unlikely event that an error is discovered post-publication, the associated remedial costs if required, are borne by the client.
Full payment will be requested by invoice upon acceptance of the final proof. Sheaf Design Works Ltd accept payment by BACS with details included on the invoice. Once payment has been received;
- Printed items will be put into production thereafter and delivered to the invoice address unless otherwise stated.
- Digital artwork projects will be delivered by email.
All designs, visuals, images, and concepts remain the property of Sheaf Design Works Ltd until the full balance of the invoice is received and cleared by the Bank.
The customer owns the right to the use of completed product(s) as quoted for by Sheaf Design Works Ltd. Any files, documents, stock images, retouched graphics, sounds, photographs, animation, and concept remain the intellectual property of Sheaf Design Works Ltd.
Exclusive Intellectual Property Rights can be bought outright and are subject to separate negotiation, should a client wish to acquire the original artwork files. If used without the express permission of Sheaf Design Works Ltd they would be in breach of ‘Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988’. Sheaf Design Works Ltd retains rights to display the artwork and images in their portfolio as evidence of ability.
